Governor's Room

KING BED, HEART SHAPED WHIRLPOOL TUB

Featuring a solid mahogany, king-size bed with a very ornate, 8-foot-tall headboard, chest of drawers and dresser. The sitting area has two comfortable Wingback chairs and is just perfect for relaxing.


The private bathroom has a heart-shaped, whirlpool tub for two.  This true, two-person heart shaped whirlpool tub has stunning woodwork all around and mirrors above the tub. This oversized whirlpool tub will help you ease tension and relax with warm water and soothing jets.

Lillian's Room

KING BED, PRIVATE BALCONY

This beautiful room has a massive, king size bed, antique dressing table, and two Wingback chairs along with a ceramic log electric stove. Imagine sipping your morning coffee on your private balcony which overlooks the garden courtyard and fountain or enjoying a view of the Hot Springs Mountain Tower in the National Park as the sun goes down. In this one-of-a-kind guest room, you may never want to leave your private bathroom as you immerse yourself in your Antique Claw Foot Soaking Tub, which is a bath/shower combination and is a fantastic way to ease yourself into a worry-free escape from everyday stress.

QUEEN BED, FIREPLACE

This wonderful room is comfortable and inviting with its bold, four poster canopy bed. This Mahogany Bed features stalks of rice carved on the bedposts and the canopy is draped in lace.  Did you know that owning a “Rice Bed” would signify a plantation owner’s principal source of wealth as the posts on his 4-post bed were carved with depictions of his money crop of rice or tobacco. This symbol of wealth became known as a rice bed or plantation bed in the 18^th century.  This 1905 inn was never a plantation of wealth, as we are located only four blocks from Historic Downtown Hot Springs, but we do feature an abundance of history as this property is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This wonderful room has a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, an antique mahogany dresser with mother of pearl handles with granite countertops. A ceramic log electric fireplace with original light fixtures above the mantel sets the mood. The custom designed stained-glass transom above the door displays a rose to compliment the two original rose tiles on the fireplace.

Find your escape in this quaint, yet romantic room which is perfect for any honeymoon or special occasion. Be amazed at the detail of the queen size, hand carved mahogany bed. After a full day of sightseeing- relax and rejuvenate in the bedside Heart Shaped, Whirlpool Tub for two which was represented in an article in The Wall Street Journal.  This cozy room has a 40” flat screen TV perfect for watching a game or catching a late-night movie.
