Our wedding ceremonies and vow renewals are
preformed by a licensed male minister.

All of our weddings & vow renewals are a
non-denominational, Christian ceremony.

You can choose where you get married when you get
here. There are beautiful places inside or outside, weather
permitting.

All weddings are payable at the time of booking.
We accept all major credit cards or you can mail a money order.

Just give us a call at 800-625-7576 or fill out an online wedding request. Some wedding
sites have to call around to make arrangements for someone to perform
the ceremony. We have a minister on staff and offer weddings 7
days a week, including holidays. We don't have to "get back
with you"
we can set your wedding time and date instantly.

Yes. If you have a special date and time you
are wanting to get married then you should book it well in advance.
We host hundreds of weddings each year and book up pretty fast.

Can we just stop by and get married anytime?
Yes. We can perform walk-in ceremonies!
Keep in mind that our minister may not always be here, he may have
weddings already scheduled or we may be closed. So we recommend
you call in advance to avoid disappointment.

Do we have to stay overnight at the inn to get
married there?
No. You do not have to stay here to have
your wedding here, however, if you are looking for
overnight accommodations, we do offer several
honeymoon packages. We also have
wedding packages that include a two night stay in one of our
romantic guest rooms!
Is the ceremony the same
whether you get married inside or outside?
No. Some weddings preformed inside the inn include the
Lighting of the Unity candle (3 tapered candles), all weddings preformed
outside do not.

Is there changing facilities or do we have to
come dressed and ready for the ceremony?
No. There are no changing facilities
for couples not staying overnight. The
Bride & Groom, wedding guests and the
wedding party need to arrive dressed and ready for the ceremony.
For couples staying overnight at the inn, in consideration of our
other overnight guests, only registered guests staying at The
Gables Inn are allowed on the 2nd floor where the overnight guest
rooms are located. All of your wedding guests and the
wedding party need to arrive dressed and ready for the ceremony.

Can we bring our own wedding cake or other food items?
No food or beverages can be brought into the inn for
weddings and receptions. We have wedding packages available
that include the wedding cake, mints, nuts, juice and punch.

Can we bring flowers or have flowers delivered for the ceremony?
Yes. You can bring your own bouquet or any other
flowers or floral arrangements. For deliveries give the florist
our address: The Gables Inn 318 Quapaw Avenue, Hot Springs, AR 71901
Phone: 501-623-7576

Why do I have to
pay for guests?
Our wedding package prices are discounted for the
Bride & Groom only.
You only pay for what you book. Most places charge an enormous
wedding package price that includes X number of guests, whether you
have that many attend or not. We give the bride and groom
a discount on the wedding package and only charge you for the number
of guests you book (add the wedding price and the guests price
together and you will find that our total price is very inexpensive,
especially when you compare us to other facilities and consider what
all is included).
Can we have more than
the maximum number of guests listed?
Yes. Our maximum number of wedding
guests is different depending on the wedding package (please see
wedding guest maximum on wedding package page). We limit the number
of guests so
that everyone is comfortable and can enjoy your special day.
For any guests over the maximum there is a $50 per person charge, regardless of age
(1 guest over maximum $50.00, 2 guests over maximum is $100.00, etc).
All fees are payable prior to the ceremony taking place.

Who all counts as
wedding guests?
Everyone except the bride and groom counts as wedding
guests, including the wedding party and children.
Can we
tour the inn prior to booking a wedding?
Yes. If you are going to be in the
area and are thinking about having your wedding here, call us and set
up an appointment (tours by appointment only). Our
wedding coordinator will be happy to sit down with you, answer any
questions you might have and give you a private tour of our
facilities. Note: We are not open to the public
and often have weddings and other events planned, so we only offer
tours by appointment. Call 800-625-7576 to schedule a tour.
What happens if we
have to cancel?
Because we have a limited number of
timeslots available, if circumstances arise that you must cancel, your
payment will not be refunded. Changing the wedding/vow renewal
date is considered the same as a cancellation.
Will we have to see each other prior to the ceremony?
If you are staying overnight at the inn we
can make arrangements with the minister so that you do not have to see
each other prior to the ceremony. Otherwise, you will meet with
the minister together and see each other prior to the ceremony.
