Wonderful room with queen size four poster canopy bed:

This wonderful room features a four poster, queen size canopy bed, an antique mahogany dresser with mother of pearl handle, a fainting couch, 32" Flat Screen TV and DVD. This room has crown molding and a romantic, ceramic log fireplace with original light fixtures above the mantel. The custom designed stained glass transom above the door displays a rose to compliment the two original rose tiles on the fireplace.

The private bathroom has a walk in shower. Luxurious amenities typically found at a Five Star Hotel such as bath gel, shampoo, lotion, boxed toothpaste, mouthwash and much more. A standard at The Gables Inn are the monogrammed robes which are provided for this rooms use.

A Free, delicious breakfast is served in our elegant dining room and is always included with each overnight stay. We always serve on china and crystal, another standard at The Gables Inn. On one morning, you will "Dine with the Presidents". Breakfast at The Gables Inn is not only a culinary treat but a unique dining experience. We have obtained reproductions of dinnerware designed for Presidents of The United States. Each pattern has been carefully researched using plates from private collections. You will enjoy breakfast on beautiful Presidential china pieces just as our leaders have done in days gone by. This Bed and Breakfast is a wonderful
place to stay. You can walk a few
blocks and be downtown! I found their
website and saw the beautiful pictures
and wondered if it would really be as
good as it looked. Honestly, it was even
BETTER in person!

The rooms were elegant and very clean.
Each room had a TV/DVD and they have a library of DVD's that you can watch
while you are there if you just want to relax in your room. I loved the fireplace
in our room! The Victorian furnishings are lovely! We had a fainting bench in
our room".
