Heart of the home...

ELEGANT ROOMS!

Amazed!

As you pass under the archway, you enter what was considered to be the heart of the home.  Guests are amazed at the beauty of this room and find it interesting that the light fixture and leaded glass are both original, as well as the push button light switch.  The fainting couch belonged to the Sammons' and is one of the original pieces of furniture still remaining in the house.  Money and bullets from the civil war can be found on display as well as some arrow heads found right here in Arkansas.  There is also a very beautiful Bible dating back to 1875.  The antique parlor pump organ dates back to the late 1800's and still serves as entertainment for our guests today.
We are very proud of the fact that we have more pictures on just a few pages of our web site than most Bed and Breakfast and even larger hotels have on their entire web site!

You too will be amazed at the beauty of this room!

Muppy, Brandy & Coco

Local artist, Faye George, did this oil on canvas painting of Muppy, Brandy and Coco which is notably on display in the parlor.

Stunning flower arrangement with peacock stained glass hanging in the window.
