The Gables Inn Bed & Breakfast makes the perfect hub for your trip to Hot Springs.  The Gables is located just a few blocks from historic downtown, antique stores, restaurants, shops, bathhouses, art galleries and shows.  Most of the art galleries stay open late (5-9 pm) for Gallery Walk on the first Friday of every month to host receptions for new exhibits of local, national and international artists.  Antique Walk is the 3rd Friday of every month and features Antique Row open late (4-8 pm).

"Hot Springs: A Journey Through History" is part of the permanent collection owned by the CVB featuring 19 new photos.

These are just some of the new photos added to this wonderful photo exhibit.

* Babe Ruth at the Hot Springs Country Club, circa 1923, with the Babe holding his golf club like a baseball bat.
* Ruth drinking from a water pump at the Hot Springs Country Club, also circa 1923.
* Ruth riding a horse at Oaklawn Jockey Club, also circa 1923.
* Cy Young, the legendary baseball pitcher, March 23, 1907. This photo was taken during spring training for pitchers held in Whittington Park. At the time Young was the player/manager for the Boston Americans (later renamed the Boston Red Sox).

"Hot Springs: A Journey Through History" consists of photographs from the collection of the Garland County Historical Society that have been enlarged and framed for exhibition purposes.

Gallery Walk gives an opportunity to stroll beautiful downtown Hot Springs and enjoy some of the finest contemporary art in America. Hot Springs Christmas Parade.


Monday, December 6th at 6:30 pm

The parade route will begin at the Central and Whittington Avenues intersection. Can goods to be donated from each participant on the floats. Collection barrels will also be along the parade route for can good donations from parade viewers. These donations will benefit all area shelters
